Another great gathering up of 146 Calves and Stirks at our weekly sale with trade being very similar to recent high rates. Top Price Calf was £1220 for a 6 Month Old British Blue Bull off Messrs Vance, Low Barledziew and Heifers to £1120 for a British Blue off the same good home. Topping the Stirks was Craig Gemmell from Hallowshean for a pen of British Blue Cross Bullocks making £1640 and Heifers to £1460 off Messrs Templeton, Knowe.\n \nBull Calves (Top Price Per Head) British Blue Cross: £1220 and £1120 x2 Low Barledziew, £1090 x2, £1020 and £980 South Kilbride, £920 Davidston, £860 Greenside.
