Messrs Craig Wilson Ltd sold 3 Dairy Cattle and 210 Calves and Stirks. Another Monster show of Calves and Stirks  with a huge ringside of keen buyers present ensured all types very easy sold and would be dearer on the week. Top Price Calf went to Mr John McLeish, Back O’Hill for a Smart Limousin Cross Heifer making £1260 and Bulls Topped at £1140 for a Limousin Cross off Messrs Dunlop, Raithhill. Stirks Sold to £1660 for a 7 Month Old Limousin Bull off Messrs Shiells, Little Auchengibbert and Heifers to £1500 for a Aberdeen Angus Cross off Low Drummore.

7 Clean Cattle sold. Small offering sold to 420p for a Limousin Heifer from The Smith Family at North Boig to J Nisbet, Quality Butchers Sorn and Maybole.

Steers sold to 385p for a Limousin Cross bought by Ann Davidson Butchers, Bridge of Allan.

140 Cull Cows sold in Rough Ring. Trade very similar with good straight Cattle easily sold. Beef cows to £2400 for a British Blue Cross from Messrs Raeside, Ladeside Farm.

Dairy Cows to £2080 for a Black and White from The Veitch Family at Greenside.

Cast Bulls sold to £2500 for a Charolais from F Young, Balnowlart and a Luing from M Sheills, Little Auchengibbert.
