Top of the charts today was a cracking Charolais Steer sold by The Drennan Family, Balgracie Farm, Leswalt at £2410.   Top price per kilo of 440p k/g was paid for a pen of 17 steers from Mr C Peek, Drury Lane.  527 Steers averaged 379.2p k/g (Last year 454 averaged 397.8p k/g)  Dairy Bred Steers sold to £2160 for a pen of Friesians from J McMillan, Over Airies and to 351.1p k/g for Friesians from R and D Wilson, High Barness.  32 Dairy Bred Steers  averaged 330.2p k/g (Last year 350p k/g).  Heifers sold to £2260 for a Black Limousin Cross from Brian Vance, Mid Skeog, Whithorn and to 417p k/g for Limousin  Crosses from The Clarke Family, Airyolland Farm, Port William.  290 Heifers averaged 370.1p k/g (Last year 240 averaged 372.8p k/g).
