Messrs Craig Wilson Ltd sold 1 Dairy Heifer and 149 Calves and Stirks at our weekly sale. Calves Topped at £1120 for a Smart Limousin Cross Heifer off Messrs Dunlop, Raithhill and Bulls sold to £1100 four times, firstly for a pair of Limousin Cross off Messrs Dunlop, Raithhill and then for another pair of British Blues off Messrs Goldie, Buistonhead. Stirks Peaked at £1760 for a 12 Month Old British Blue Bull off Liz Gemmell, Dunduff and Heifers Topped at £1620 for a British Blue Cross off Messrs Templeton, Knowe.

Bull Calves (Top Price Per Head)

Limousin Cross: £1100 x2, £1090, £1080, £1050 and £900 x2 Raithhill, £820 Crooks. British Blue Cross: £1100 x2 and £960 Buistonhead, £880, £870 and £860 Davidston, £810 West Park. 10 Heifers sold to 418p for a Home Bred Charolais from Drew Young, Girvan Mains and to £2502 for another Home Bred Charolais this time sold by J Young, Brownsfield.

Steers sold to 399p (£2691) for a Limousin Cross from Chris Smith, North Boig.
